Temporary Purchase Ledger Controller

Temporary Purchase Ledger Controller

  • 15 hours per week
  • Based in Malmbesbury
  • ASAP start
  • 4 months, possibly longer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Checking and entering purchase ledger invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements to supplier ledgers
  • Collecting, analysing, and posting Credit Card and Equals Card statements
  • Providing purchase ledger support and resolving financial queries
  • Preparing monthly fee accruals and reconciling utility invoices against meter readings

Essential Skills:
  • Experience in purchase ledger and accounting systems
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping tools such as Sage, Xero, and Key Prime (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, OneDrive, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working with PDFs and paperless invoices
  • Ability to collaborate within a finance and admin team
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, with confidence in questioning discrepancies
