Purchase Ledger Clerk

Purpose of role

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, your role will be to support the daily transactional running of Purchase Ledger tasks to ensure the continuous running of LNT Sites.

Primary Responsibilities

• Processing high volume of invoices onto Sage 200 matching with purchase order's and delivery notes
• Request and chase up approvals of invoices
• Follow controls ensuring proof of delivery/approvals are captured
• Support in daily monitoring of the email inbox
• Reconcile statements, requesting documents where required
• Deal with supplier queries and escape where necessary
• Ad hoc projects as requested by the Purchase Ledger Manager and senior finance team.

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to time constraints
