We're on the lookout for a friendly, detail-loving Purchase Ledger & Accounts Clerk to join our team! If you've got a knack for keeping things organised, enjoy working with numbers, and like getting things done right the first time - we'd love to hear from you.

Purchase Ledger & Accounts Clerk

Laindon - Office based - Must Drive due to location

Full-time - Permanent - Monday - Friday 9-5pm

Salary: £24k - £27k

You'll be handling our day-to-day supplier invoices, keeping our purchase ledger tidy, and making sure our payments go out on time. It's a key role that helps keep the business ticking along smoothly.

Duties
  • Processing and checking supplier invoices
  • Matching up invoices with POs and delivery notes
  • Sorting out any invoice queries with suppliers
  • Prepping payment runs
  • Helping with reconciliations and month-end tasks
  • Supporting the rest of the finance team where needed
Qualifications
  • Some experience working in a similar role (purchase ledger/accounts payable)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good with numbers and Excel
  • Experience with finance software (Sage, Xero, or similar would be a bonus)
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
