About this Role

The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Pupil & Family Support Lead to join Bantock Primary School's team.

You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people.

The position is expected to begin in September 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to commit to further training and qualifications as needed and to maintain or return children to stable emotional well being.

Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role within the school to address the needs of pupils, parents and families to enable children to overcome barriers to learning and achievement.
  • Deliver pupil and family support within the school setting for children in all Key Stages as appropriate.
  • Organise and deliver training to school staff.
  • Support children, young people and their families to enable them to maintain or return to stable emotional well being. Duties are carried out in accordance with set standards and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Good standard of education in English and Maths.
  • Level 3 qualifications in childcare, social work, counselling or education, along with proven experience working with children & families or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
