About You
We are seeking a Publishing Operations Intern on 12 month Fixed Term Contract to join our friendly and welcoming team, who are based in Central London. This year-long internship provides an ideal opportunity for an individual to gain experience in the academic publishing sector, working for not-for-profit charity.
Reporting to the Publishing Operation Lead, the Publishing Operations Intern acts as the essential point of contact for microbiologists in academia, industry, and clinical environments in their roles as authors, reviewers, and members of our Editorial Boards and provide cross-portfolio support on priority tasks and on other tasks as determined by the Publishing Operations Lead.
This role is ideal for graduates, especially those with degrees in science disciplines to gain valuable experience of all the operational skills required to manage a scientific journal.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and time management skills as well as strong computer literacy.
