Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production and service. The successful applicant will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise team members, including chefs, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and health regulations
Manage daily operational activities within the restaurant or hospitality setting
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards across all departments
Coordinate with suppliers for inventory management and stock control
Implement training programmes to develop staff skills and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold the establishment's reputation
Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff
Maintain organised records of operations, staff schedules, and health & safety documentation

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food production processes
Demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and quality control
Experience in serving or hospitality roles is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills to lead teams effectively and liaise with clients or guests as needed
Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
