PSV / HGV Mechanic

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a friendly, flexible & reliable mechanic who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team on a dayshift / backshift rota

Working in our Engineering workshop, your role would include maintaining and repairing the company's vehicles to the strict standards set by our company and DVSA.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

Repairing and maintaining the Company's fleet of vehicles to a high standard

Carrying out preventative maintenance

Carrying out roadside and running repairs as necessary

Taking instructions and the ability to work on own.

What you Need:

Full UK driving licence (PCV license desirable but not essential)

Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Experience working on PCVs or HGVs

Good understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
