Property Manager (Legal) e-Centre, Cooperage Way, Alloa, FK10 3LP
ABOUT THE ROLEAs part of our growth plans we are seeking suitably qualified people to work on origination, acquisition and management of land assets. GreenPower employs a highly skilled team of technical, financial and commercial experts committed to high quality ethics and working standards. The majority of our property transactions are Scots law, although we have a few English law activities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Working with the Land Manager and the Development Team to identify and secure land agreements for the development of renewable energy projects.
- Assisting with landowner relationships including negotiating heads of terms, option agreements, leases, licences and servitudes.
- Instructing land agents, solicitors, and other external advisers in property matters.
- Administering the continuing property commitments of the company including adjustments to titles, option payments, and complying with planning obligations.
- Managing the files and property registers for the company.
- Providing property due diligence for acquisitions.
- Dealing with property enquiries.
- Degree-level qualification in Scots law or similar property related subject.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial property transactions in Scotland.
- Skilled in managing agents and legal teams to prepare options and leases.
- Familiarity with the planning and consent processes across UK.
- Understanding of the commercial terms and conditions of rural renewable energy property transactions.
- Full, current driving licence valid for driving in the UK.
- Knowledge and understanding of GIS packages (ideally ArcGIS).
