Would you like to develop your career with the Best Small Lettings Agency in the UK, as recognised by The Best Estates Agents Guide 2025?
We are looking for a brilliant organiser and natural problem-solver to join our lettings team as our Property Manager. You don't necessarily need to have worked in property before. Previous property management experience would certainly be an advantage, but we are equally interested in hearing from people whose skills and experience could transfer well into the role.
Why join us?- Awarded Best Small Lettings Agency in the UK
- A friendly, supportive team where your contribution is genuinely valued
- Flexible working hours that can fit around family life
- A company that puts exceptional customer service before targets
Property management is varied, busy and people focused. No two days are the same, so you will need to be someone who enjoys problem solving, making decisions and seeing things through.
You don't need to know everything about lettings from day one. We can teach you the property-specific aspects of the role. What is harder to teach is good judgement, initiative, organisation and the ability to communicate confidently with different people.
- Has strong transferable experience from a customer service, administrative, operational or similarly busy environment
- Can confidently manage a busy workload, prioritise competing demands and keep on top of a busy inbox
- Has a keen eye for detail and understands that accuracy matters
- Takes ownership of problems rather than waiting for someone else to solve them
- Is confident using everyday office systems and comfortable learning new software
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties from tenancy commencement through to move out, including deposit negotiations and release
- Supporting the tenant onboarding process, including referencing, tenancy agreements and compliance documentation
- Managing rent administration, including allocating rent payments, raising and settling invoices through Landlord accounts, annual rent reviews and issuing relevant notices
- Handling maintenance enquiries in accordance with our SLA
- Coordinating diaries and appointments, including contractor visits, property inspections, inventories and access arrangements
- Managing Landlord compliance requirements and certification
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers, delivering a consistently high level of customer service
- Supporting the wider Lettings team with property viewings and other departmental duties as required
- Demonstrating a sound understanding or willingness to learn the current lettings legislation and industry regulations.
Applicants must have excellent verbal and written English, together with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
