Highly respected and well-established within the local property sector, this independent property business has built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional service across residential lettings and property management. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join its successful and supportive team.

About the Role

As a Property Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of approximately 120-140 residential properties, ensuring landlords and tenants receive a first-class service throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

The successful Property Manager will act as the key point of contact for tenancy-related matters, maintenance issues and property inspections, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a residential property portfolio of approximately 120-140 properties
  • Providing solutions to tenancy queries, concerns and disputes
  • Coordinating and resolving property maintenance issues
  • Obtaining and reviewing contractor quotations and estimates
  • Arranging pre-tenancy, post-tenancy and inspection-related works
  • Maintaining accurate property records, case histories and diaries
  • Ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and relevant legislation
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to landlords and tenants
  • Liaising with contractors, landlords and tenants to ensure smooth portfolio management
  • Negotiating tenancy rent reviews and notices
  • Following ARLA Propertymark guidelines and industry best practice
About You

To be successful in this Property Manager position, you will possess:

  • Previous experience as a Property Manager, Lettings Manager or within residential property management
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • The ability to prioritise workloads within a busy environment
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Confidence liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • A practical approach to problem solving
  • Good IT and typing skills
  • ARLA Level 3 qualification (desirable)
