Property Manager

Overview

Our client is a well-established, independent residential estate agency managing a substantial and diverse property portfolio. Known for their fast-paced environment, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Property Manager to join their busy team. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will take responsibility for managing a section of the portfolio throughout the full tenancy lifecycle, delivering a professional and efficient service to both landlords and tenants.

Key details

• Basic salary - Up to £35,000 DOE
• Annual Leave - 20 days plus bank holidays
• 1 in 3 Saturdays required
• Driving essential

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties, delivering outstanding service to both landlords and tenants
• Conduct check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth and professional transitions
• Administer deposit protection and manage deposit returns
• Proactively resolve rental arrears, liaising confidently with landlords and tenants
• Work closely with the dedicated maintenance and repairs team to ensure works are completed efficiently
• Coordinate safety certifications and ensure full compliance across the portfolio
• Conduct property inspections and inventories and provide detailed landlord feedback
• Organise and review reports for mid-term inspections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the property management system

What We're Looking For

• Previous Property Management experience is essential
• ARLA qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail - you take pride in keeping everything running smoothly
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
• Confidence using property management systems and handling administrative tasks efficiently
