Property Litigation Associate Central London Established Real Estate-Focused Law Firm An established and highly regarded Central London law firm is seeking a talented Property Litigation Associate (circa 4 years' PQE) to join its growing real estate disputes team. The firm has a strong reputation for commercially focused advice and long-standing client relationships across the real estate sector. Its client base includes investors, developers, landlords, corporate occupiers and high-net-worth individuals. The team handles high-quality, complex matters in a collaborative and partner-led environment.The RoleYou will join a busy and well-regarded property litigation practice, working closely with partners while maintaining responsibility for your own caseload.
  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Lease renewals under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954
  • Forfeiture and possession claims
  • Rent arrears and service charge disputes
  • Dilapidations claims
  • Easements, restrictive covenants and boundary disputes
  • Rights of light and other development-related disputes
  • Tribunal and High Court proceedings, with strategic use of ADR
You will be expected to take ownership of matters, supervise more junior lawyers where appropriate, and play a proactive role in client relationship management and business development.About YouThe ideal candidate will:
  • Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 4 years' PQE in property litigation
  • Have strong technical expertise across commercial real estate disputes
  • Be confident managing matters independently
  • Demonstrate sound commercial judgement and pragmatic problem-solving
  • Possess excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Be motivated to contribute to team growth and long-term client relationships
