Top-tier international law firm arelooking to recruit a Scottish,English or dual-qualified Property Lawyer to join theirProperty Energy & Infrastructure team- this role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Overview:
The firm has one of the largest teams of dedicated property lawyers in the UK specialising in energy sector work withclients include the developers, funders and investors involved in energy projects across the UK (including onshore windfarms, offshore windfarms, development of district energy centres and district heating networks, hydro projects, new gas-fired power stations, biomass plants, solar farms and the energy networks which support such projects). The team'sbreadth of experience coupled with specialist knowledge means that, whether theyare advising on a complex multi-million pound energy project or the acquisition, funding or sale of an asset, theirclients receive the legal support they require, when and how they want it - often coupled with other legal services delivered by colleagues as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team specialising in energy and infrastructure projects.
Candidate Requirements
- The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in commercial property, ideally with particular experience of energy property work and infrastructure projects.
- You will have a strong academic background and an outgoing personality.
- You will ideally have circa2-6 years' PQE with experience of dealing with the property aspects of energy projects in Scotland and/or England. But previous energy experience is not essential: the teamwould also be interested to recruit a candidate with a solid grounding in general commercial property work in either jurisdiction who now wishes to move into an energy-focussed role.
