Glasgow Kelvin College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Support Lead to play a key role in the planning, coordination, delivery and ongoing development of our Raising Income Through Skills and Education (RISE) programme.

The successful candidate will lead the operational management of RISE funded provision, supporting priority learners to access skills, training and progression opportunities that improve employability and contribute to tackling poverty. Working across both community based settings and College programmes, you will develop inclusive learning opportunities for parents, carers and individuals facing barriers to participation.

You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to create effective pathways into education, training and employment. You will also lead project monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and demonstrating positive learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of RISE-funded programmes.
  • Design and implement flexible and inclusive learning opportunities.
  • Develop learner pathways that support engagement, progression and positive destinations.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies and community organisations.
  • Monitor learner engagement, retention, progression and outcomes in line with funding requirements.
  • Analyse data and produce reports demonstrating project impact and compliance.
  • Support and guide staff involved in programme delivery.
  • Oversee programme administration, documentation and resource management.
  • Lead outreach and engagement activities.
  • Promote learner voice, participation and continuous improvement.
Knowledge:
  • Community Learning and Development competencies, values and ethics.
  • Local and national policies relating to CLD, employability and tackling poverty.
  • Programme design and delivery within community and employability settings.
  • Partnership and multi-agency working.
  • Monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements associated with funded programmes.

Experience:
  • Experience delivering CLD, employability or community-based programmes.

  • Experience monitoring outcomes and reporting against targets.
  • Experience engaging priority groups and supporting learner progression.
