We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and a quick learner with a desire to develop in a friendly and supportive insurance company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a welcoming team of four and build on their current experience. The successful Project Manager will have strong project and stakeholder management experience. This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on our transformation journey!

Overall responsibility of the role:Tobe responsible for the delivery of the projects for the Transformation and Change function. There will also be an element of product ownership and management of BAU change.
To manage projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Role responsibilities:- Direct and manage project development from beginning through delivery and transition to BAU.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, project plans and associated communication documentation that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Set, continually manage and communicate project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and negotiate with other department managers for use of their team members as required.
- Draft and submit budget proposal and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools so as to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a hands-on project manager role requiring strong stakeholder management, working with multiple departments and IT stakeholders, internal platforms, and third-party vendors.
- Excellent communicator, able to influence with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes / actions and own project / process documentation.
- Able to manage project or phases of a project, bringing them to completion in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to explore and challenge sensitively.
- Strong adaptability: can adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Certification in Prince II / practitioner.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project suite and high-level understanding of the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience of Project Management in Financial Services highly desirable.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
