Project Manager for Hydroelectric Developments 80-100%

We are a Valais-based company called to become the Swiss leader in hydroelectric power production. With 130 highly qualified staff, we actively contribute to the energy transition and the security of supply of 100% renewable, decarbonized, and domestic electricity for the benefit of Valais and the continuation of the development of the Valais hydroelectric power plant. We are looking for a Project Manager for hydroelectric developments. In this role, you will work within the technical support sector of the mission department. Your mission is to manage projects and sub-projects for the construction of new hydroelectric power plants. You will manage the projects from the preliminary study phase through to implementation. You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams. You will also collaborate with specialized offices. Your involvement in your projects will contribute to realizing the development of hydraulic energy desired by the Swiss people, especially regarding energy storage and winter production.Your profile: Master's degree in civil engineering (ETH or FH) with in-depth specialized knowledge in hydraulic engineering or geotechnics. More than 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of hydraulic or underground structures. Proven experience in project management as a project owner or contractor. A strong interest in other subjects relevant to hydroelectric projects such as electromechanics, the environment, the energy industry, and legal aspects. A dynamic and flexible personality with the desire to operate in a constantly evolving environment. Ability to work independently as well as in multidisciplinary project groups.
