Project Manager (Data migration Experience Essential)

On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS are now looking for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract based in the bank's Edinburgh office on a hybrid working model (two days per week in the office).

The key responsibilities of the Project Manager are to:

• Support the large-scale migration of cloud-based data platforms.
• Lead and ensure timely delivery of Power BI reports and analytics on the new platform.
• Manage stakeholder communications, risks, and issues across a complex data migration landscape.
• Collaborate with implementation partners to align on delivery plans and milestones.
• Coordinate with the Data Governance team to implement new governance tools and frameworks.
• Oversee change readiness activities including training plans for transitioning to a new platform.
• Ensure continuity of BAU reporting by replicating existing reports on the new infrastructure.

The key requirements of the Project Manager include:

• Experience in large-scale cloud migration programmes.
• Proven experience delivering data migration or reporting projects within the financial services domain.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Excellent stakeholder and third party management experience.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and tools.
