Project Manager (Construction)

Our Kerry based clients are presently recruiting for a construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects or multiple sites. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while maintaining excellent client and stakeholder relationships. This is a permanent position with a mix of office and site based work.

Key Duties

• Manage projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and design consultants.
• Coordinate design development, RFIs, and technical workshops.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, and key milestones.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Chair site and management meetings.
• Promote a strong health, safety, environmental, and quality culture.
• Work closely with commercial teams to achieve project objectives.
• Resolve technical and operational issues to maintain project progress.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree, diploma, or trade qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction or civil engineering sector.
• Previous progression from a Senior Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of in-situ concrete frame construction and civil works.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with strong cost management experience.
• Full clean driving license
