Job Purpose

As a Project Manager, you will champion a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring that every initiative delivers effective, measurable outcomes for the organisation. You will bring strong experience working across both Agile and Waterfall teams, collaborating with a range of disciplines to deliver results at pace. Working closely with Engineering Managers and Product Owners, you will plan and agree on deliverables, ensuring timelines are clearly estimated, documented, and communicated. You will manage the end to end delivery of projects, partnering with business stakeholders to support effective planning, transparent reporting, and the successful launch of new products often driving changes to business processes along the way. Clear, consistent communication is essential in this role, and you will provide regular updates on project plans, progress, deliverables, and actuals to keep stakeholders aligned and informed.

Job Duties
  • Maintain the overarching delivery plan across your workstreams, ensuring priorities remain aligned with the wider product roadmap.
  • Plan and manage milestones effectively, supporting predictable delivery and clear visibility of progress.
  • Apply project governance in line with the Delivery team's lifecycle, from initial setup through to closure, ensuring consistency and accountability.
  • Coach teams on appropriate delivery methodologies, helping them apply the right approach for the project and supporting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using insights from retrospectives to refine ways of working and enhance future delivery.
  • Identify and manage cross project dependencies, collaborating closely with the Programme Manager and fellow Project Managers to maintain alignment across the organisation.
  • Apply structured change, risk, and resource management, working with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to ensure your workstream remains stable and well supported.
  • Provide clear, timely communication and reporting on project status to your team and Delivery leadership, ensuring transparency at all levels.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood, expectations are managed, and outcomes deliver value.

Define and document strategies for managing third party relationships, maintaining strong partnerships with fast moving, high profile suppliers to support successful delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with our 3rd party suppliers.
  • A can do attitude is a must, to keep our teams and suppliers moving in the right direction to succeed.
  • Adept at working in a fast pace challenging environment whilst managing high expectations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communications skills to provide timely updates on plans and execution to your stakeholders.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements from within, spotting trends early and removing impediments for your team(s).
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Engaged in ongoing training and certifications.
  • Previous industry experience.
