Project Manager AI and Data Science (w/m/div)

As Project Manager AI and Data Science for Backend Operations (f/m/div), you will be the driver of our digital transformation. In Backend Semiconductor Manufacturing (BE), you will take responsibility for a large number of AI and data science projects that are revolutionising our production worldwide. By using data and artificial intelligence, you will enable us to make economic decisions at an early stage and optimise our processes, whether in Warstein, Malaca (Malaysia) or Wuxi (China). They are the key to our future viability and help us to master the challenges of the digital era internationally.

Job Description
In your new role you will take over:

Project management:

• Leading the development and implementation of innovative and strategic projects within our global programme in alignment with business objectives and operational needs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and domain experts from Operations and IT, to deliver effective and scalable solutions
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of global AI activities within BE operations, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritization
• Acting as a single point of contact for strategic AI topics within the global AI programme to facilitate communication and decision making
• Communicate project and portfolio progress to senior management to provide insights and recommendations for improvement

Standardisation and excellence:

• Promote process standardisation within the organisation to streamline data science workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Promote data science excellence by identifying areas for improvement and fostering professional development within the team
• Define and implement metrics to analyse the success of AI initiatives in BE operations

Your Profile
You have strong, trustworthy and collaborative communication skills that enable you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders globally and clearly convey alignment on key priorities and deliveries. Your good organisation and structured way of working will enable you to manage complex projects and use your time effectively. In addition, you have a strong analytical mindset that enables you to analyse complex problems and successfully develop effective solutions. In addition to your experience in project management, you have technical understanding and the ability to coordinate teams and effectively involve stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations and fulfil them.

You will successfully fulfil the requirements if you:

• Have a Master's or PhD degree in engineering, data science, computer science, industrial engineering or a related scientific or technical field
• Have at least 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in the field of semiconductor technology development
• A track record of managing strategic and high-impact projects in a global, cross-functional environment and proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project or similar).
• Strong knowledge of AI, data science and analytics methods and their application in manufacturing or operations.
• Have the ability to communicate fluently in English and German and engage stakeholders of different nationalities and cultures.
