Our client a leading PLC house builder are about to launch a brand new 60-unit, traditional build development - are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead from the ground up.

About the role of Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of a new development from pre-construction stage right through to successful completion. You'll be involved in everything from initial planning and pre-commencement activities to overseeing build quality, budgets, programmes, and health and safety compliance on site while leading the team to success.

Responsibilities for Project Manager

• Lead the development from pre-commencement, ensuring all pre-construction activities, site set up and programming are completed
• Manage and coordinate the construction process for the site
• Work closely with technical and commercial to ensure smooth delivery against programme and budget
• Ensure site compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team
• Monitor build progress and proactively resolve any issues to the keep the development on track, ensuring high quality is delivered

Requirements for Project Manager

• Proven track record as a Project Manager (or Strong Senior Site Manager ready to step up) within a PLC or Large house builder environment
• Experience managing traditional build housing developments from pre-construction to handover
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with confidence
• Must have excellent understanding of NHBC standards
• Committed to delivering homes to the highest quality
