Project Manager - Retail
London - 3 days required in the office/ 2 from home

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager to support the successful delivery of transformation initiatives for our client,a well-established organisation operating in the retail sector. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of project management experience who is ready to take the next step and contribute to meaningful change in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

You'll be part of a high-performing team, helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver a range of projects across various areas of our client's retailorganisation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure objectives are met
  • Apply consistent project delivery approaches and promote best practice across workstreams
  • Support the implementation of solutions that align with our client'slong-term strategy
  • Engage subject matter experts and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful adoption and training
Day-to-Day Tasks
  • Lead projects through all phases, from initiation to closure
  • Monitor budgets and provide regular financial reports
  • ?Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and key documentation
  • Coordinate resources effectively across teams to meet delivery milestones
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues
  • Communicate progress clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Track outcomes to ensure intended benefits are achieved
  • Maintain structured governance and reporting throughout
What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years of project management experience, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing environment
  • Solid organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
  • Confident working with project budgets and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP (certification desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of how change management supports successful delivery
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain focused and adaptable in a changing environment
