Project Manager - M&A

Outside IR35 - 5 days onsite

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions to lead critical integration projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that newly acquired businesses are effectively integrated into our existing IT landscape, with minimal disruption to operations.

This is a highly stakeholder focused role, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across technical and non technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end to end IT integration projects following mergers and acquisitions
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across business units to gather requirements and align expectations
  • Drive the integration of key systems (ERP, CRM, infrastructure, and operational platforms)
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers
  • Ensure seamless data migration, system compatibility, and process alignment
  • Coordinate internal teams and third party vendors to deliver integration milestones
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and elevate risks where appropriate
  • Support post integration optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in M&A environments
  • Strong track record of delivering system integration projects within manufacturing or distribution sectors (preferred)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data migration, and system interoperability
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or similar)
Working Arrangements
  • Full time onsite role (5 days per week) near Minworth
  • Flexibility to travel to other UK sites as required
