Project Manager - IDS

Overview

Impact Data Solutions (IDS) is recruiting a Project Manager to join the team. You'll be at the heart of delivery operations across data centre and ICT infrastructure projects. You'll lead multi-site activities from pre-construction through to final handover-ensuring client satisfaction, safety compliance, and operational excellence. The role would be suitable for existing Site Managers looking for the next step in their career.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead safe, compliant worksite operations and enforce EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality) standards.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, and resources from tender to close-out.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractors, materials, QA, and documentation workflows.
• Ensure effective project controls: financial forecasting, valuations, reports, and client handovers.
• Own permit-to-work (PTW) requests, POCR (Post-Contract Reviews), and operational manuals.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years in ICT project delivery (structured cabling, containment systems, fibre & copper testing).
• Advanced knowledge of cable types and standards (UTP, FTP, Fibre Optic).
• Strong skills across MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• Experience managing high-volume project teams and change control.
• SMSTS &ECS (Project Manager) card.
• UK driving licence, passport, and right to work.
