THE ROLE:

This Civil Project Manager role will focus on managing all civil construction activities across renewable energy projects throughout Southern Ireland. You'll oversee site preparation, earthworks, roads, drainage and other enabling infrastructure works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

• Lead the delivery of civil packages across solar and energy infrastructure projects
• Manage site preparation, earthworks, access roads, drainage and concrete works
• Coordinate subcontractors and civil engineering teams across multiple work fronts
• Monitor programme, resources and productivity on site
• Manage project budgets, variations and commercial reporting
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and statutory requirements
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants and site stakeholders

THE PERSON:

This role is ideally suited to candidates from a civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities background who have experience managing large-scale construction projects.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• Typically 5+ years' experience in Project Management or Senior Site Management roles
• Backgrounds may include Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Civil Site Manager or Construction Manager
• Strong experience delivering civil works packages
• Experience with infrastructure, utilities, roads, drainage, earthworks or renewable energy projects
• Good understanding of programme management and project controls
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets, valuations and cost tracking
• Confident managing subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
