Your field of work includes:The candidate will manage complex IT projects, develop strategic processes and tools and be responsible for their implementation.
Your tasks will include:
- Management of the main Project Management Office department with responsibility for one employee
- Project organization: development, introduction and improvement of uniform processes and structures for IT project management
- Tools and control: selection and further development of tools for monitoring project progress and coordinating schedules, budgets and resources.
- Project management: Management of one or more complex IT projects with a high need for coordination and a very high degree of difficulty in the "Operations Control, ICT B - IT Strategy and Projects" department of the Berlin Fire Department
- IT modernization: Planning, research, conception and implementation of IT projects for the introduction or renewal of IT systems and procedures at the Berlin Fire Department
- Documentation and further development: drafting and maintaining basic regulations and concepts in the IT sector

- A completed (technical) university degree (Bachelor) in the field of computer science, industrial engineering with a focus on IT, economics with a focus on IT, or a comparable IT subject area
- At least three years of practical experience in the field of project management (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2 etc.), incl. agile methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience in the area of process design and organizational management (e.g. ITIL)
- Experience in conceptual work for IT project management (planning, research, concept creation, management, realization)
- Experience in carrying out requirements analyses and user training
- Experience with IT processes and IT systems (software, databases, networks)
- Experience in business process and IT service management
- Experience in dealing with IT security and data protection (GDPR)
- Experience or project-related experience in interdisciplinary collaboration between ICT technicians and process owners
