Sofico is a Hidden Champion: We're the world's leading supplier of software solutions and services for asset finance, leasing, and fleet mobility management. Our software is used by a broad range of enterprise businesses worldwide.

We're currently scaling our delivery teams as we look to expand and are recruiting Project Managers with relevant experience.

What you'll be doing

You will lead a team of 4-10 to deliver complex software implementations. To help you succeed, you will have access to a comprehensive and well-documented PMO, a team of PMO professionals, and various product support, training, and delivery teams, as well as the UK Business Consultancy function.

While most software implementations involve similar processes, small changes, bug fixes, and quick patches, our focus is on delivery excellence and getting it right the first time. This role involves managing enterprise projects from day one, working with coordinated delivery teams on both sides, integrating with 1 or 2 customers, and focusing on their business needs, project scope, and ensuring successful delivery through configuration, deployment, training, and management of large-scale software implementations.

Your interests and skills

You have extensive experience with project management and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) in a software implementation context. You are responsible for establishing and achieving objectives, balancing quality, scope, time, and cost, performing risk assessments, and adapting plans to stakeholder expectations.

You possess thorough knowledge of all phases of software implementation projects-from pre-sales to go-live-including requirement analysis, configuration, development, migration, and testing. You can oversee multiple modules simultaneously, have excellent organizational skills, an analytical mindset, strong commercial awareness, and diplomatic skills.

You have a strategic yet pragmatic approach. As a people manager and coach, you motivate your team, challenge and inspire them, and manage communication streams and reporting internally and externally.

With excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, you can effectively convey technical and project information and provide comprehensive recommendations. Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management, and influencing abilities are essential. Experience in large-scale ERP deployments is required, with financial sector experience and leasing knowledge being a plus. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Travel during key project stages and occasionally to our HQ in Belgium is part of the role.
