Job Mission

As Project Leader, you will lead Assystem's Core Team supporting our new opportunities in the Netherlands. You will oversee the pre-delivery phase of new nuclear power projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the delivery of technical, regulatory, and strategic milestones in alignment with the Netherlands' 2050 climate neutrality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Core Team supporting decision-making and project delivery within the client's organisation.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Ensure effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and contractor coordination.
• Advise the Contracting Authority on deliverables under the framework agreement.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building with a variety of clients and customers.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards.
• Mentor and manage team performance to meet demanding technical and regulatory expectations.

Your Profile

Essential

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in senior roles managing large-scale nuclear or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and international teams within complex programmes.
• Expertise in nuclear regulatory, contractual, and technical project aspects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch context or institutions is a plus.
• Willing to travel and work with multinational teams.

Desirable

• Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2).
• Experience within a Technical Support Organisation or government-led programme.
• Familiarity with the Dutch energy policy and regulatory landscape.
