Job Description

Our energy sector client is currently hiring a Project Engineer on a permanent basis in Aberdeenshire.

The Project Engineer will be part of the Projects department, supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects across manufacturing and offshore sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Oversee the timely delivery of manufacturing and offshore projects.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand specifications and requirements.
  3. Estimate costs, time, and resources; prepare quotations.
  4. Define project scope and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Plan, monitor, and assist all parties to meet project milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
  6. Prepare and present technical documentation for clients and third parties.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  8. Uphold core values through professional behavior.
  9. Work methodically, safely, and with a structured approach.
Proposed Interactions
  • Reporting directly to Line Manager.
  • Interacting with other departments and clients.
Qualifications (Essential)
  • Experience in a Project Engineering role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 QA systems.
