Project Engineer - HVAC / Mechanical

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the delivery of HVAC and specialist mechanical engineering projects within safety critical environments. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the correct technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities, schedules and milestones
• Provide technical oversight on HVAC designs, drawings and equipment selections
• Supervise site installation, testing and commissioning
• Maintain project documentation and support cost control
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project expectations are met

Requirements

• HNC/HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, standards (e.g. DW144) and packaged plant room fabrication
• Experience across full project lifecycle, including design reviews and site execution
• Commercial awareness and strong communication skills
• Experience in nuclear or safety critical environments is desirable
