Project Director

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship education development in Bath, forming part of a major £100m+ construction scheme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established main contractor delivering a landmark project, taking full responsibility for programme, commercial performance, operational delivery, and client management from pre-construction through to handover.

As Project Director, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the overall delivery strategy for a large-scale education project
• Managing site delivery teams and senior operational staff
• Driving programme, quality, and health & safety performance
• Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Overseeing commercial performance alongside the commercial team
• Ensuring all project objectives are achieved on time and within budget
• Providing leadership across all phases of the construction lifecycle

To be considered, you must have:

• Proven experience in a Project Director or Senior Project Manager role
• Experience working for Tier 1 main contractors
• Track record delivering projects valued at £50m+
• Strong education sector experience (preferred)
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strong contractual and commercial awareness
• Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
