We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship education development in Bath, forming part of a major £100m+ construction scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established main contractor delivering a landmark project, taking full responsibility for programme, commercial performance, operational delivery, and client management from pre-construction through to handover.
The RoleAs Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the overall delivery strategy for a large-scale education project
- Managing site delivery teams and senior operational staff
- Driving programme, quality, and health & safety performance
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Overseeing commercial performance alongside the commercial team
- Ensuring all project objectives are achieved on time and within budget
- Providing leadership across all phases of the construction lifecycle
To be considered, you must have:
- Proven experience in a Project Director or Senior Project Manager role
- Experience working for Tier 1 main contractors
- Track record delivering projects valued at £50m+
- Strong education sector experience (preferred)
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong contractual and commercial awareness
- Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
