We have a uniqueopportunity for an experienced Project Director/Head ofConstruction to join our Sellafield team to work on a new Frameworkfor us. You will work alongside the Framework Director within theNuclear business

This will include leadingto ensure effective mobilisation of new framework contracts andimplementation of smooth transitionarrangements.

You will establishstrategic partnerships with Sellafield Ltd, in order to createlong-term sustainable revenues and profitablegrowth.

The ProjectDirector Role

A senior member of the Frameworkdelivery team. Responsible for the management, leadership, support,and development of a group and/or team of technical professionalsin the timely execution of operations in the pre-construction and/orconstruction phases of a project. Responsible for organisation andcoordination of all construction and logistical operations andprocedures, in order to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, andsafety in all relevant phases of the project. Effectivelycommunicates with all parties. Willingly participates as a collaborative team member,supporting others and occasionally acting as Framework Director as required during periods of illness or holiday. Isfully committed to and actively promotes all aspects of Build Sureand SRM values, culture, and behaviours throughout theproject.

YourProfile

• Demonstrable working experiencewithin the construction / civil engineeringindustry, including the management ofconstruction activities, processes, means and methods ina senior operational level
Have the APM PMQ (or equivalent ) qualification or be a Chartered Project Professional Proven trackrecord ofthe management and successful delivery of a mixed portfolioof complex packages / construction projectaspects
• Proven technical, engineering background, with abroad portfolio of experience
Current working knowledge andcommercial understanding of forms ofcontract
• A strong understanding of collaboration and theneed to develop internal and external relationships, with provenpeople management skills
Highly effective communication and interpersonalskills, able to communicate at all levels and present ideaseffectively
• Skilled in multi-tasking, prioritising, andmanaging a complex workload
Developed time management skills with the abilityto multi-task and reprioritise tasks whennecessary
• An appreciation of the qualities of leadership andan understanding of the links between vision, values, and the businessobjective
