ATG are seeking an experienced Project Director - Rail to lead the delivery and growth of an exciting rail portfolio in Northern Ireland and across the UK & Ireland.

The role will provide strategic leadership on major rail programmes, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and act as a senior advisor to key clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct major rail projects and programmes from inception to completion.
• Provide strategic leadership and governance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as senior client interface, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive business development, including bids, frameworks, and client growth.
• Manage commercial performance, risk, and quality across the rail portfolio.
• Mentor senior staff and support capability growth within the rail team.
• Champion safety, sustainability, and best practice in rail delivery.

Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as Project Director or Programme Director within consultancy or client-side environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland rail standards and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent commercial, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Chartered status (or working towards) in a relevant discipline preferred.
