Project Delivery Manager - Civils

Lead the delivery of the infrastructure that keeps the North West connected.

We're looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of civils and fibre build activities across the region. You'll take ownership of operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Working closely with field teams, subcontractors, local authorities and clients, you'll drive productivity, compliance and customer satisfaction while supporting the successful delivery of key telecoms infrastructure programmes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of civils and fibre network construction projects across the North West.
  
• Manage field teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and right-first-time delivery.
  
• Drive performance against programme, quality, productivity and commercial targets.
  
• Oversee excavation, duct installation, chamber construction and reinstatement activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA, permit conditions, traffic management requirements and SSHEQ standards.
  
• Build strong relationships with clients, local authorities and operational stakeholders.
  
• Coach, develop and support operational teams to achieve high performance.
  
• Identify risks, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement across the project.
  

Requirements What You'll Bring

• Proven experience managing civils, telecoms, utilities or infrastructure delivery projects.
  
• Strong leadership experience within field-based operational environments.
  
• Solid understanding of street works, reinstatement, traffic management and permit compliance.
  
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  
• Knowledge of excavation, duct installation, chamber builds and fibre network construction.
  
• Strong commercial awareness, planning and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Full UK Driving Licence.
