Vertex are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to work from our London and Loughton offices.
You will be working with the Senior Projects Manager to ensure projects are coordinated effectively.
As Project Coordinator you will ensure that our key project partners and subcontractors deliver against contracted targets. You will liaise closely with our project partners and subcontractor teams to ensure the works are effectively coordinated and work is completed on time and to the required standards and specification. You should have robust interpersonal and team working skills, in addition to solid decision-making abilities and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring that Risk Assessments and Method Statements are received, reviewed, submitted and monitored.
• RAMS are fully compliant to site specific and project requirements.
• Undertake periodic audits of our Project Partners and Subcontractors to ensure they are conversant with their RAMS and scope of works.
• Ensure all teams are focused with Vertex and site health & safety processes and procedures.
• Preparation of work in progress reports for submission to the Project Director.
• Progress reports issued on a weekly basis to highlight:
• Any delays or outstanding works.
• Cost overruns.
• Project Partners and Subcontractor issues.
• Collating certification and data documents for preparation of O&M manuals.
• Preparation of timing plans, installation, and commissioning documents.
• Ensuring drawing updates are approved.
The hours of work average 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 However, flexibility is required in order to complete the duties associated with the role.
