The Project & Opportunity

Supporting growth in the Wilton area, Sydney Water will deliver essential drinking water, recycled water, and wastewater infrastructure as part of the Wilton Integrated Services Project.

Role: Project Controls Manager

This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and management of project controls systems to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project controls strategies and plans.
• Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines for project controls.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and report project expenditures, ensuring budget alignment.
• Implement cost-saving measures and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate Earned Value reporting.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Finance.
• Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (CPEng, RegPM, PMP) preferred.
• Proven experience supporting major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
