Project Accountant - Telecoms Sector
Location: Dublin 4
Salary: Up to €80,000 + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a leading organisation based in Dublin 4.

This role is ideally suited to a finance professional with a strong background in the telecoms sector and proven experience supporting large-scale projects and capital expenditure programmes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in project financial management, CAPEX reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting and analysis across telecoms-related projects
• Monitor and report on CAPEX spend and project performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Partner with project managers and operational teams to track project costs and timelines
• Prepare monthly management accounts and project reports
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commercial insights
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and financial controls across projects
• Support audit and compliance requirements
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong previous experience within the telecoms sector is essential
• Proven project accounting experience with exposure to large-scale projects
• Strong CAPEX experience is essential and must be clearly detailed on your CV
• Experience working closely with project and operational stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Strong Excel and finance systems experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
