Role

Project / Site Manager responsible for overseeing ESB and utilities infrastructure works across Co Meath. Manage day-to-day operations across multiple live sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with ESB procedures and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across ESB and utilities infrastructure projects
• Coordinate site managers, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple locations
• Ensure all works comply with ESB standards, permits, RAMS, and health & safety requirements
• Liaise directly with ESB representatives and internal project stakeholders
• Monitor programme progress and provide regular updates to senior managementMaintain quality standards and deliver works to specification
• Maintain accurate site records, permits, and project documentation
• Drive programme delivery while maintaining safety and operational standards on live utility sites
• Manage subcontractor performance and site coordination activities

About You

• Background in utilities, civils, or infrastructure with proven experience managing ESB or similar live utility projects in Ireland
• Organised, safety-focused, and able to coordinate multiple work fronts and subcontractor teams
• Strong communication skills and practical site management ability
• Solid understanding of programme delivery within live operational environments

Must Have Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience on ESB or utilities infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in a Site Manager or Project Manager role within civils or utilities
• Strong knowledge of ESB safety systems, permits, RAMS, and compliance procedures
• Experience managing subcontractors and live construction environments
• Full driving licence

Preferred Experience

• Utilities infrastructure or power projects experience
• Experience working directly with ESB representatives
• Background with Irish civil engineering or utilities contractors
• Strong reporting and programme management skills

Nice to Have

• Relevant engineering or construction qualification
• Additional health & safety certifications
• Experience across multi-site utilities projects
