We are seeking a Programmes Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our expanding programme of work. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on research integrity across the UK.

Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will lead day-to-day programme delivery, managing projects and initiatives across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, UKRIO Associates, volunteers, and the Advisory Council to ensure outputs are high-quality, evidence-based, and relevant to the sector. The role involves engaging with diverse stakeholders, synthesising expertise and perspectives, and translating them into practical guidance, resources, events, and other outputs.

Essential to the role is a strong track record in managing and delivering projects effectively, excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to work independently, and the adaptability to respond to evolving circumstances. Attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to maximise the contribution of limited resources are also critical.

Key information about the role:

  • Full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension

  • Salary: £40,000-£45,000, dependent on experience

  • Hybrid working: attendance at the London Euston office required two days a week (Monday and Wednesday)

  • Occasional UK travel with notice to attend in-person meetings or events

The person:

You are likely to thrive in this role if you:

  • have an excellent understanding of research integrity and research culture, and a genuine commitment to producing high-quality, evidence-based guidance and resources for the research community

  • have experience managing and delivering multiple projects or programmes, with the ability to plan effectively, prioritise competing demands, and achieve outputs to time, budget, and standard

  • are skilled at engaging with diverse stakeholders, synthesising expertise and perspectives, and translating them into practical, usable outputs such as guidance, training materials, and events

  • are proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams and with volunteers, Associates, and advisory bodies

  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present clearly to a range of audiences and represent an organisation externally

  • are enthusiastic about implementing change and bringing new approaches to programme delivery to improve impact and efficiency
