iO Associates are working with a leading organisation in the defence sector to recruit a Programme Quality Engineer. This role is a fantastic opportunity to support complex system development programmes, ensuring technical and process compliance from bid stage through to delivery.

• Provide assurance support across assigned bids and projects/programmes

• Monitor hardware and electrical development for compliance with technical requirements

• Conduct MA/QA activities during acquisition and programme execution

• Facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) and onsite inspections

• Manage the SCAR process for supplier NCRs

• Participate in bid and programme Gate Reviews

• Oversee supplier quality and corrective actions

• Quality assurance experience in a systems engineering environment

• Knowledge of UK MOD assurance requirements and practices

• Proven record in delivering against defined QA requirements

• Experience in quality improvement methods (Lessons Learnt, 8D, 5-Whys)

• Familiarity with risk identification and reporting

• British National (for security clearance purposes)

• IPC 610/620 certification for electrical inspection

• Experience monitoring supplier KPIs
