H&F Adult Learning and Skills Service (ALSS) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-starter and confident full time Programme Manager for Special Educational Needs and Employability Pathways), reporting to the Senior Manager for Employability and Life Skills.
The is a key role to manage and co-ordinate projects and routes into employment, to include embedded employability skills and employability programmes such as Health and Social Care, Childcare, Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Business and IT and SEN curriculum areas. As part of H&F Council's 'Industrial Strategy,' a joint partnership with Imperial University based in the White City innovation District (WCID), this exciting role will help develop new employment pathways in Science Technology, Engineering, Maths, digital Media and creative Media (STEMMM) and Green Skills with business 'start-ups' and employers across the borough to support H&F residents gain the necessary skills for 'the jobs of the future'.
This full time Programme Manager post is a key appointment to ensure that we maintain our excellent standards in teaching and learning and developing an innovative curriculum to enhance employment opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced individual to take on this role to support our borough residents achieve nationally recognized certificates, gain employment and progress in their lives.
The Programme Manager will lead and manage established staff and sessional lecturers in the curriculum areas. Ensure the comprehensive planning of provision across our centres, as well as outreach venues, to include schools/nurseries and community settings across the borough.
