Are you excited about partnering with UK Government to drive high-visibility programmes? Are you equally comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams to meet business requirements? If so, the AWS Global Government Delivery Organisation is looking for a Programme Execution Manager with a proven record of delivering results.

This position focuses on the delivery of AWS services to our UK Government customers. It requires effective cross functionally collaboration across diverse teams to solve complex problems, identify requirements, design processes, and manage timelines for programmes and projects supporting UK Government customers. You will coordinate diverse teams, such as sales, capture, business operations, legal, cybersecurity, solution architects, and software development, towards a common goal. You will also communicate regularly with management on project status, business opportunities, and risks.

We seek an innovative programme manager who has experience delivering solutions to UK Government customers. To be successful, you must be able to solve complex, technical/non-technical problems with simple and practical solutions, handle ambiguity, and dive deep to uncover additional insights. Customer obsessed, ownership, and a bias for action are key qualities, as is effective communication with management and stakeholders across the organisation.

UK Government security clearance is required for this role.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non tech teams
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience working with or for UK Central Government departments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing cross functional programmes and release schedules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non technical leaders
• Experience working in or with UK Government departments
• Experience managing or supporting UK Government contracts and frameworks (e.g., G Cloud, CCS frameworks)
• Experience managing UK Government projects built using cloud technologies and knowledge of compliance with UK Government Cloud Security Principles
• Understanding of UK Government procurement processes and frameworks
