Professor of Primary Care Research

The University of Manchester wishes to appoint to the post of Professor of Primary Care Research. The post is open to clinical or non-clinical applicants.

The successful applicant will join the Centre for Primary Care as Professor of Primary Care Research andwill be supported to grow a collaborative programme of research of international quality to complement the Centre's existing portfolio of research according to the interests and expertise of the appointee. The role holder will be encouraged to take an active role in the management and leadership of the Centre and Division as required. Some teaching of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate taught students will be expected along with supervision of postgraduate research students. The role will also involve providing academic leadership, development, mentoring and career management for junior colleagues and contributing to the development of academic staff.
