Job Description

Are you passionate about improving the care of people with dementia and those at risk of falls? We have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Development Lead - Dementia and Falls Prevention to join our dynamic Acute Services team at NHS Fife.

In this new and pivotal role, you will work closely with the Head of Nursing for Acute Services Division to provide expert professional support and guidance to clinical staff. You will lead the development, delivery, and monitoring of clinical practices for dementia care and fall prevention, ensuring the highest standards of care across Acute Services.

Your responsibilities will include designing and facilitating training programmes for ongoing professional development, ensuring educational requirements are met for both pre- and post-registration staff. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving local and national projects aimed at improving care for individuals with dementia and fall prevention.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with substantial dementia care and falls prevention experience
• Degree-level education (Masters preferred or in progress) with relevant professional qualifications
• Proven experience leading dementia and fall prevention initiatives
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Quality Improvement
