Do you want to run high-speed filling lines that produce household-favourite milk products, driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement every shift?
As a Production Technician on our Yellow Team, you'll keep our filling lines performing at their best-solving issues fast, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement and team decision-making.
How you will make an impactYou will ensure the efficient running of filling lines in the Production area, contributing to quality and technical standards so the team can produce high-quality milk products reliably and cost-effectively. You'll operate equipment and production systems (LMS/SAP), resolve minor breakdowns, maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, and plan production to optimise resources and output.
- Operate and effectively run filling lines using production systems (LMS/SAP) and equipment (e.g., Labeller, Fillers) to consistently deliver high-quality products.
- Work to high standards to achieve targets in Quality, Efficiency, Waste and cost reduction; ensure full completion of daily targets.
- Monitor equipment performance; correct or raise issues before they elevate; resolve minor breakdowns and perform basic maintenance.
- Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards; ensure departmental procedures are followed, records maintained, and regular audits completed.
- Plan production to optimise resources and output; contribute to team reporting and decision-making; promote strong communication and working relationships.
- 1-2 years' experience in an operational role in food manufacturing.
- Strong quality and safety awareness; familiarity with CIP, hygiene, dairy H&S and product quality standards.
- Competent with production systems and PC skills; lean awareness and understanding of milk supply chain and sustainability.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and quality testing; disciplined in following procedures and maintaining records.
- Proactive problem solver you use initiative to keep lines running and prevent issues.
- Quality-driven operator you uphold strict hygiene and safety while meeting daily targets.
