Production Technician Production, Logistics & Maintenance Manchester

About the Role

Working as part of an established engineering team, this role involves hands on assembly and production of a wide range of fabricated and fully assembled products.

Key Responsibilities

• Bench assembly of engineering components
• Stripping, preparing and terminating cables
• Soldering electrical connections
• Carrying out quality checks on assembled parts
• Assisting with light fabrication tasks when required
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Supporting production targets and deadlines
• Ensure all work is carried out to company quality standards and engineering specifications
• Follow health and safety regulations, including safe working practices within the workshop and during the installations
• Maintain clean and organised work areas

About You

• Eager to learn with a can do attitude

Experience and Skills

• Experienced in manufacturing, production and/or assembly work
• Experienced with cable assembly or soldering essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work with workshop tools and equipment
• Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage but not essential
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
