Arla Foods Stourton Dairy are looking for a proficient Production Operative to join our team on a full time permanent basis, playing an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products.

As a Production Operative you will be working a full time, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) and will have responsibility for the daily operation of container filling and labelling machinery, producing a range of our top quality dairy products.

Responsibilities

The daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products, including reporting and correcting any safety issues while maintaining proper safety conditions for equipment and surroundings.

Perform quality inspections on materials and finished products, including codes, seals and weights, and ensure proper and accurate product/package/code changes.

Carry out all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.

Perform simple preventative maintenance, such as cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, tightening and monitoring equipment and process performance, and correct or raise issues before they become a problem.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
• Good communication skills with the ability to understand instructions.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent desirable.
• Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems such as SCADA, OEE, SPC.
