Production Operator

• Manufacturing and assembling timber roof trusses to production drawings
• Operating hand tools and machinery in a factory environment

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator / Factory Operative to join a busy timber manufacturing team in Enstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual seeking stable, long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

As a Production Operator / Factory Operative, you will be responsible for manufacturing timber roof trusses within a production environment, working as part of a skilled and supportive team to meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards.

The Role

• Fabricating and assembling timber roof trusses to specification
• Operating production machinery and hand tools safely
• Reading and following production drawings
• Conducting quality checks on finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assisting with general manufacturing duties as required

About You

• Previous manufacturing, factory, construction or woodworking experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A strong commitment to health and safety

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• £12.71 per hour
