Production Operative (Heavy Lifting)

Location: Knowsley
Pay: £12.92 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm

We're looking for a hardworking Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Knowsley. This role is physically demanding, with heavy lifting forming the main part of the job, so applicants must be comfortable carrying out manual handling throughout their shift.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is looking to build a long term career.

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy lifting and manual handling of products throughout the shift
• Loading and unloading materials
• Assisting with production and manufacturing processes
• Palletising finished products ready for dispatch
• Operating production equipment following training
• Carrying out quality checks
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider production team to meet daily targets

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is essential
• Physically fit and able to carry out repetitive heavy lifting
• Reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Willing to learn and take on new tasks
• Good attention to detail
• A positive attitude and commitment to health and safety
