Overview

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE CHICHESTER OR SELSEY DAYS ONLY, NIGHTS ONLY OR ROTATIONAL

Due to continued growth and increased demand for our products, we are expanding our team and looking for Production Operatives to join us at Natures Way Foods. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation where our people are at the heart of what we do. As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting our expanding production lines, ensuring our fresh, high-quality food products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards for our retail customers.

Shift pattern

Fixed Days or Nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

At some sites, we operate fixed day or fixed night shifts. You will work 14 days across a 28-day period, following this typical pattern:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday

Rotational Days and Nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

At other sites, shifts rotate between days and nights. You will again work 14 days across a 28-day period, following the same pattern:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday

Monday-Thursday Night Shifts (Merston site only)

We also offer a Monday to Thursday night shift pattern at our Merston site.

Responsibilities

• Working on our food production lines, preparing various fresh produce for labeling
• Chopping and preparing fresh produce
• Picking and packing products
• Loading and unloading product onto the production lines
• Operating specialised machinery

Qualifications

Requirements/What we're looking for

• Strong attention to detail
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Can work under pressure and to hard deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• A dynamic and flexible attitude and can solve problems
• Values working within a team
• Willing an open to learning new things
• No experience is requiredas we provide full training initially to get you started and further ongoing training to progress your career with us.
